Susan B. Anthony, badass.
Lest we forget Susan B. Anthony sought voting rights for women because she was offended that black men were allowed to vote and she wasn’t, even though, as she said, their brains weren’t capable of understanding politics. Susan B. Anthony, racist.
White privilege is Susan B. Anthony being an American hero. White privilege not understand why black folks should be skeptical of mainstream feminism when this white supremacist is one of the most seminal figures in the feminist movements.
LAST NIGHT: 100,000 Brazilians flood streets to protest World Cup spending and government corruption.

June 18, 2007 - Death of Comrade Vilma Espín, communist revolutionary and leader of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).
Goals of the Federation of Cuban Women, established by Espín in 1960:
- Bringing women out of the home and into the economy
- Reorganizing peasant households that keep women in subservient positions
- Developing communal services to alleviate domestic work and childcare
- Providing equal opportunities for women
- Mobilizing women into political work and government administration
- Providing adequate working conditions “to satisfy the particular needs of the female organism and the moral and spiritual needs of women as mothers.”

Seriously, even as like a ten year old I knew that line was just wrong.
I like how they beat the shit out of the rapist at the end. We need more humor on the side against rape like this video. This is brilliant.
